Q. What is the the procedure?
The good thing about natural mole, wart, and skin tag removal is that it can be done in the comfort of your own home.

Step #1 - Scratch or rub the ENTIRE blemish with toothpick or emery board provided. DO NOT scratch the surrounding skin) Scratching should be hard enough to allow DermaTend™ to penetrate the blemish. You do not need to scratch so hard that it bleeds.

Step #2 - Using a wash cloth with soap and hot water; cleanse the area using hot enough water to open up the pores.

Step #3 - Shake the DermaTend™ Tube and massage gently for 30 seconds before each use. Apply DermaTend™ to the entire surface of the blemish. Use only enough DermaTend™ to cover the affected area; a little goes a long way. Avoid getting DermaTend™ on the surrounding skin) Cover with the fiber band aid.

Step #4 - Leave DermaTend™ and band aid on for 24 hours until your next daily application. There MUST be a stinging sensation on the blemish usually lasting 5-10 minutes. (If you do not feel any stinging, you have not scratched enough and DermaTend™ may not be working to its maximum efficacy) Inflammation and redness around the blemish is normal.

Wash off DermaTend™ and wait for scab to form. If scab does not form in 24 hours repeat Steps 1 - 4 until one does.

Q. How Long Does it take until a scab forms?
The amount of time that a blemish will take to scab varies greatly. To speed up the process follow all instructions thoroughly. Be sure to scratch each time prior to applying DermaTend™. If a mild stinging sensation was not felt, the blemish was not scratched enough. Some blemishes are more stubborn than others. While some may scab overnight, others may take several weeks.

Q. How Long Does The Entire Removal Process Take?
Removing moles, warts, and skin tags varies with each person. Though we have seen results in as little as 1-3 days, be prepared to use DermaTend™ for a few weeks in some cases. Also, results are measured by the time it takes for the skin imperfection to turn into a scab. Your skin will need time to heal. Total time for healing should be approximately 10 - 21 days. Immune systems are different, and skin problems can be stubborn. Be patient and diligent with the application of DermaTend™, and give it an honest try.
Please don’t try it for three days and then give up.

Q. How Do I Know It's Working?
When the formula is working, a mild stinging sensation will be felt. If this is not felt, the mole, wart or skin tag should be scratched a little more with the toothpick or emery board the next time. This is not very painful nor does it require anesthesia or numbing cream.

Q. Will It Leave A Scar?
Of all the removal methods, this is the one less likely to leave a scar if done correctly. As there is no incision, no scar should occur unless the scab is pulled off prematurely. Take care of the scab and it should heal just as any other scab heals.

Q. Are Band Aids really necessary?
If you do not want to keep your band aid on during the day you should do your applications before bedtime. Apply the DermaTend™ and band aid at night and remove the band aid in the morning. DermaTend™ can stain clothing so be sure that the band aid covers all of the area being treated.

Band aids are not necessary once the blemish has scabbed, however, they are strongly recommended as they prevent accidental picking or rubbing which can lead to scarring.

Q. Is the scratching really necessary?
Scratching is the most important step in the removal process. It allows the product to penetrate into the root of the blemish. The process will still work without scratching but could take several weeks to months as the blemish will be removed layer by layer.

Q. When the scab forms, do you continue to apply the cream, and how long does it take to fall off?
Once a scab forms you may stop applying DermaTend™. The time in which the scab falls off varies greatly and is determined by how quickly your body heals itself.

Q. Can I shower during the removal process?
It is best to shower prior to applying DermaTend™. Be sure not to rub or scratch at the mole. If you must shower when band aid is in place, this is ok. Do not shower within 20 minutes of applying DermaTend™ to allow the product to work to its full potential.
