Medical FAQs
Q. Does DermaTend™
Cause Scarring?
With DermaTend™ you have the best chance of avoiding scarring,
but as with any healing process, it may occur. However you still
have far less chance of scarring than you would with surgical
methods. Take care of the mole, wart, or skin tag during the removal
process and it will heal as the body regenerates new fresh, beautiful
skin. As with all scabs, do not pick it off. Let it heal and fall
off on its own and you will have better results.
Q. What Are The Risks
Of Natural Mole, Wart, and Skin Tag Removal?
As in other removal options, infection is a risk. This can be
hugely reduced by making sure that proper cleaning and sterilization
is used and that the scab is well taken care of. Moles should
be examined prior to removal as this method should not be used
on malignant moles. These are topical formulas and should not
be eaten.
Q. Why Does My Dermatologist
Recommend Surgery?
Most dermatologists are only schooled in conventional ways. Natural
remedies are rarely covered in school. This sad fact keeps dermatologists
less informed to more natural and effective solutions.
Doctor Andrew Weil has written about Bloodroot
(main ingredient in DermaTend™) as a means of natural mole,
wart and skin tag removal. Dr. Weil does not endorse DermaTend™,
but here is what he has to say about bloodroot...
"One alternative to these procedures that
I can suggest is using bloodroot (Sanguinaria canadensis), a small
woodland herb that grows in the north central United States and
Canada. The red juice from the root is poisonous when taken internally,
but used externally has a unique ability to dissolve abnormal
growth without disturbing normal tissue."
Dr. Weil is considered an authority on alternative
medicine. He has a loyal following of both patients and doctors.
Weil believes in harnessing the body's natural healing ability
before resorting to unpleasant medical procedures. His traditional
training as a medical doctor and his in-depth knowledge of alternative
treatments make him one of the most well-respected and trusted
doctors of our time. However, he is a fine exception to the rule
of business in the medical industry.
If your dermatologists suggests surgery do to
believing your mole may be cancerous, this is something that should
be taken very seriously. DermaTend™ should not be used to
remove moles which have been classed as suspicious by your dermatologist.
